Gospel Community Culture
Connecting the spheres of life that were never meant to be separated.
God sends His community to reach the culture they live in with the Gospel. God does not hate culture, but is a creative God. God calls His community to be culture makers, culture shapers and culture enjoyers. In culture is where real people who need a real savior work to understand the world around them. The church’s aim in culture is not to isolate from culture but to restore culture. I hope to influence and encourage the culture of Bloomington-Normal for gospel renewal in the context of my community at Charis Community Church. This means supporting local arts, businesses & music and loving the people I am making culture with as a messenger of the Gospel.
